WHO WE ARE

WE ARE VARADAAN

VARADAAN set up its own Child Care Unit in 1994 and commenced adoption placement work. A team of trained and experienced social workers, committed to the cause of child welfare, work with VARADAAN as full-time staff members, handling its various activities.

It is a registered Society which is also licensed under the Juvenile Justice (Care & Protection) Act 2000 amended Act 2006 and has certificate to do In Country Adoption from Commissionerate Women & Child Development, Pune, Maharashtra State. VARADAAN strictly adheres to the Guidelines prescribed by CARA (Ministry of Women & Child Development, Government of India) while placing a child in adoption.The broad aim of VARADAAN is child welfare and the promotion of Indian adoption.

VISION

EVERY CHILD A CHILDHOOD… Provide protective services to children in securing the rights with a special focus on orphan, abandoned, underprivileged and marginalized children.

MISSION

To provide an ideal residential care facility for children while attempting their family-based rehabilitation.
Identify children who are abused, whose rights are violated, or who are vulnerable, marginalised and/or in difficult circumstances and render appropriate supportive services to them. Services would include rese gistering cases of child rights violation with appropriate authorities, follow-up of such cases, advocacy on child rights, counseling, guidance, emotional support, vocational training, and support for educational needs.
